Took some fumbling but it works great.

Set it up on my Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard. Took about 30 minutes. It works fine. Tested my Internet connection to see if it still works and it does. I had seen a report on the Web that this device interferes with your net connection. Not mine. Hope I don't have to come back to report that something is wrong.
Update: I should have added that I had to reselect the wireless version in my printer setup. After making it the default printer it worked fine. The hard line version is still there, just off line.
Update2: Setup the wife's and my (Dell and Toshiba) Vista laptops today. That was easier than my Mac. We have a spread out house and you can go any where in it and print. I'm liking this a lot. |

| Works great, but was a challenge to setup as I am using a MAC computer. HP Customer service was good to work with once I finally got a representative who was willing and able to walk me through the complicated installation. I recommended they update their installation instructions for MAC. They said they are working on it :-) |
Good while it lasted

| It was easy to install, just stick it in the USB port and go. It worked very well while it lasted. But one slight move of the printer and the adapter snapped. The inside piece broke so now it won't stay in the USB port of the printer. It needs to be a little smaller so it doesn't stick out from the printer-similar to the new USB mouse adaptors. If you buy it, be careful. If you have a house of clumsy boys...just get the wireless printer with the internal wireless signal. |
