Product Description

Today's advanced fast ethernet and gigabit computer networks require Enhanced Category 5 high-speed cabling to distribute data, voice and video. These enhanced Cat5 350Mhz Patch Cables will keep you ahead of the game. These cables will handle bandwidth intensive applications up to 350 Mhz and beyond. Meets all Cat 5e TIA/EIA standards, and drastically reduce both impedance and structural return loss (SRL) as compared to standard 100 Mhz wire! This is accomplished by bonding together each of the individual pairs, helping to maintain the twist-spacing throughout the line right up to your termination point. Constructed with high-quality wire and a shortened body plug will keep Near-end Crosstalk levels to a minimum. Generic version. Non-Booted Cable

For those of us less "techie" tupes, this type of cable which has connecting ends that look like telephone wire clips is used for Broadband/DSl reception and is connected to your computer and modem device. They come in black, but many buy them in blue or yellow so they stand out when there are a mass of cables. You need this type of wiring in order to get the Broadband/DSL signal from your telephone line. You also need the length because they often have to extend from one part of a room to another, depending on where you placed your computer.
